(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home2/crossrv8/public_html/evangelisttimthompson/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114Well, after a few website adjustments and my FINALLY getting the hang of a new blog site (I, Brittany, am terribly untechy.🙈), we’re back to letting you know where we’ve been, where we’re going, and what the Lord is doing along the way.

To sum up the mid-spring schedule briefly, we kept a break-neck pace but loved the opportunities God gave us in Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, and finally Ajax, Ontario, Canada. Amidst the typical week-long revival meetings, we also participated in speaking for a couples retreat at Marlbrook Baptist Church (Raphine, VA) that included four sessions over that weekend. After a Sunday-Wednesday meeting with Pastor Mike Brown in NJ, we were “off to the races” to get Britt to Canada for their annual Ladies Retreat where she was speaking twice and playing piano in a concert for the event. It was an incredible opportunity! We ended that special weekend with Tim preaching all day for Pastor Bob Wall and the following morning, hit the trail for Williams, AZ–probably one of the longest trips our family has made with truck and trailer.

We were extremely thankful for smooth sailing with no mechanical issues on our four-day trip and looked forward to rolling up our sleeves and working with Troy and Sara Carlson at West Branch of the Bill Rice Ranch for the summer.

What a wonderful time we had at West Branch serving in several different capacities from maintenance to preaching to music!!! We worked with a fantastic staff, met sweet new friends, and saw the Lord work His way in hearts throughout the summer with several trusting Christ and others making pivotal decisions in their walk with Christ.

We are now back into our itinerant travels for the fall. Pastor Tim Smartt of Maranatha Baptist Church (Ripley,TN) invited us for a choir clinic/friend day weekend August 5-6, and we had an outstanding weekend of working with their choir and witnessing a host of guests joining us for the Sunday morning service. August 13-18 involved a powerful week of meetings geared for the family at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. We saw record attendance and were thrilled for many who went away with hearts encouraged and challenged. We’ll be back with this sweet church family, Lord-willing, in 2019.

As we are enjoying some much-needed R&R this week at First Baptist Church of Milford, OH, we look forward to an exceptional upcoming week at Newark Baptist Temple (Heath, OH) for a 3 on 3 basketball tournament this weekend and their Christian school back-to-school retreat, a week set aside at Camp Penial for their upper grades to come together for exciting activities and preaching to prepare them for the school year.

Thank you for keeping up with us! We greatly appreciate your prayers as we will be traveling hundreds of miles in the next month–prayers for safety, good health for the family, and for effectiveness for the gospel’s sake.

May God richly bless you!
